South-West University
The Southwestern University is a center of a rich educational and scientific activity, one of the most authoritative spiritual fireplaces outside the capital. There are 10 500 Bulgarian and foreign students at the University, which study in more than 40 majors. A special authority have the functioning International University Seminar for Balkan Research and Specialization, the Center for Foreign Languages and Literature, Center for International cooperation and integration, Center for Distance Education, the University Publishing House and other centers and units within the framework of the University.

Technical University - Varna
TUV has been established in 1962 with a Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Peoples Republic of Bulgaria and Act of the National Assembly. The purpose of the creation is to ensure conditions for education of engineering staff for the shipbuilding, transport, machine building, electric power engineering and communications.

Technical University of Gabrovo
The Technical University of Gabrovo is a state university conducting teaching for the academic degrees of Bachelor and Master in 18 degree courses and for the academic degree of Doctor in 31 degree courses. It was founded in 1964 as Polytechnical Institute. In 1972 it was transformed into Higher Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for both full-time and part-time studies. In 1995 the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria gave it the status of Technical University (TU).

THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOFIA is a major educational research and production complex offering highly qualified trainers, engineers and technical staff, with modern laboratory facilities and considerable capacities for experimentation and production. THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOFIA is the largest higher engineering school in Bulgaria with long years of experience in training engineers. Fifty five thousand are the engineers who have graduated and with the knowledge and skills acquired here have contributed to the development of Bulgarian industry. There is hardly any industry, company, or plant in Bulgaria where TU graduates are not employed.

University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy
The University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) is located in Sofia, the capital of Republic of Bulgaria. The University was established as a Department of the State Polytechnic in Sofia in 1945. It became an independent higher technological institution named Institute of Chemical Technology in 1953 with two Faculties: Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy with Professor Boris Zagorchev as its first Rector.

University of Food Technologies-Plovdiv
The University of Food Technologies-Plovdiv (UFT) was established officially on 10-th June, 1953 by the decree No 230 of the President of Parliament according to which the UFT-Plovdiv became an independent higher educational establishment.
